Overall, the litter box does what it needs to do. Two things I do notice is I have to change out the trash bag compartment every five days even though it says 15 days the smells too strong … sometimes litter , poop and pee can get stuck on the litter box grails inside but I think that’s just with all automatic litter boxes. For $220. This does the job.

This is a great litter box! I have no worries of it injuring my cat since it stops if anything, even my hand, enters the box. It’s relatively compact compared to others, can be moved pretty easily, and the remote control app is convenient so you can track what’s happening with your cat even while away. That said, I have some feedback: Mochi likes to urinate right at the edge of the box and oftentimes the clump will not drop into the bottom; it just stays stuck. The only way I can remove it is manually which isn’t fun. Also, the box smells and the bottom shelf needs to be emptied daily so that it doesn’t stink to high heaven. I’ve used natural cleaners to address the smell but it doesn’t help all that much. I think once cat urine gets anywhere it just doesn’t leave no matter what you do. Is this a better option than a manual cat litter? Yes, but having my cat go outside is always the preferred option unfortunately.

Super easy to assemble!! When the drawer needs emptying, the app or a light on the control panel will alert you. Simply pull out the drawer, remove and dispose of the bag containing the waste, and you are done!! Definitely I will buy it again and I abosolutly recommend this to my friends and family! I can’t believe how nice this works! You never have to scoop litter! It just goes in a plastic bag (provided). Pick it up and toss the whole thing! At first my cats were a little timid of it, but got the hang of it rather quickly! Highly recommend.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the freedom from a traditional litter box. My kitten got accustomed to it quickly. You can setup a cleaning schedule, how often it cleans after a cat uses it, and how many minutes after. It has a safety mechanism that triggers if it detects movement, my kitten is quite curious, so it sometimes does go to it once it starts rotating and it automatically stops and resumes after the kitten leaves the immediate area. Not loud, nice color variety, app works. The app doesn't automatically work on high speed wifi connections, but it was easy to temporarily change my spectrum router settings to align with the requirements. No issues or complaints. Way more affordable to litter robot series or the ones offered at PetSmart/petco

I wanted a self cleaning litter box but didn't want to pay the really high price of the 'robot' kind. There are several available on Amazon. I went by other customer reviews and purchased this one. It went together pretty quickly. They provide many liners so you won't have to purchase more for quite awhile. Our cats didn't take to it quickly but eventually they got there. We still have a couple of regular litter boxes near by and have been taking them away slowly. Our cats are 15 years old and pretty used to the way their litter boxes were. The one thing I really didn't like and don't use is pairing the Self Cleaning litter box with my phone. I couldn't get it to work and just decided that it's really not needed. The litter we have been using is a hard clumping litter and sometimes sticks to the plastic underneath. It's a quick fix but be careful on what tool you use to loosen the litter clump as a sharp tool could cut the plastic. I would recommend this litter box. 4 stars for the useless (for us) 'smart home' phone pairing.

I’ve got a X-Large Cat. He fits in it just fine. I’m older now with a bad back so I was hoping to remedy having to clean up the litter box everyday & now it’s twice a week. As simple as it shows in the video.
I noticed someone said once a week but when I investigated further I found evidence that the urine over time will have an effect on the sensors & motors life time, so proper cleaning will made it last a lot longer!
At first he wouldn’t go in until I unhooked the power so as instructed I kept the old box close by. It took 5 days before I could leave it turned on all the time. Now it’s a lot cleaner in the house!

This has made life a little easier with 6 cats in the house. It has streamlined the facilitation of feline fecal mater. Although a near perrrrfect product, it does have some exploits that frisky felines will soon discover. (See below) One of our boys loves to pop in on others while freshening themselves. His brother loves to keep peeking at the nuggets left behind to see where they go. The dogs tend to avoid the new automated box which is prefurrrrrable. We really do love the purrrrchase. My wife and I both agree it was some of the BEST money we’ve ever spent.
Exploits:
1. When the box cycles and some little kitty sticky their furry little posterior in to see what’s happening, it’ll stop. (Safety first)
2. This box does not include A.I. technology. You will have to refill the litter often, but the soiled litter is packaged and ready to go to the trash with no trouble at all.
3. No poo parties! It doesn’t like more than one kitty per visit. This is typically not a problem unless you have one of our crazy cats.
We love the litter box. We’re going to buy another one.

Easy set up and easy to clean! I don’t know how I had a cat without this! Caught it on sale which was a bonus but worth every penny. Took a couple weeks for my cat to get used to but she finicky about everything. The trick was to rub her face and paws with a cotton square and rub the square around the edges of the entrance. Worked like a charm. No problems with it at all. I use Crystal litter and it works well even though not advertised for that type. Such a time saver!!!

Overall we are very happy with this purchase. Setup was easy. We had a new kitten so I like that it gave us stats on his weight and bathroom habits. This litter box is so worth the investment. We have two cats and was having to scoop constantly, especially when company was over as we have a small space. My teenagers appreciate not having to constantly scoop out the litter box frequently as well. I've had it for several months and it still works great. The app connected to it is also easy to use. Once you get the hang of it. I'm not tech savvy at all and I was able to figure it out on my own .Our cats are not scared by the noise which was a concern originally. You can adjust the timer, light color and brightness and a few other things. I also love that it has the usage data available so I can make sure my cats are going regularly And in case I forget to hit the reset button after a deep cleaning. I use regular litter with it and it does fine. I've ran out of the special bags that go in the bottom tray and have just used regular trash bags which works in a pinch. I do recommend getting a 2nd tray that goes in the machine as it is vinyl and with usage does wear and tear slightly. It's still going strong but I do plan to get a backup. As far as the size, it's perfect. I have a very large cat and he has plenty of room. I would purchase this over and over!

I waited over a month to review this so I could more fairly evaluate it. It has been great so far, not a single issue to report. The weight sensor is a bit inaccurate, but I didn't buy this for that feature so I'm not worried. Operation is quiet, and the app allows you to customize the settings for the night light, clumping time, etc. The use log is accurate, showing the time and duration of each use by the cat, as well as current status. It also counts uses since the waste drawer was last pulled out. The wifi operation is good, this is in the basement laundry room far from the router upstairs in my house, and it still works great. This works on 2.4G wifi, the band with the longest range. Just about all modern routers are dual band these days (2.4G/5G) so this should work in most households. The waste drawer is large, my 9.5LB cat takes nearly 2 weeks to fill it. Also there was an immediate, very noticeable reduction in cat litter consumption. If you use a quality litter like Slide like we do, this is a very welcome cost savings!
This comes with 2 rolls of bags that line the waste drawer, as well as a deodorant block. If this thing lasts a year or more I'd say it was definitely worth the money. So far so good, and I'll update my review if anything changes.

Cleanup requires pulling out the tray and pulling out the liner with built-in drawstrings....easy as it gets. Put in a new liner and push it back in and your done for a few days.

Behaves as expected. Easy to setup, wifi and app work perfectly. We have 3 cats and one loves it, one uses it some times and the 3rd never does. It is totally worth it, as it take a huge burden off the regular litter boxes. We use this as a buffer for when we travel, and it fits the bill. No problems at all, and we have been using it for nearly 4 months now. Just know that if you stick your hand in the window to add litter, the box will be in "cat present" mode for a minute, so the manual cleaning function will not work until the coast is clear. Press Manual Clean after emptying the tray and all will be well. I have found that it's best to put a thin layer of litter in the litter tray after cleaning, as the dirty litter from the box is concentrated nasty, and one of our cats is HUGE and he is a tight squeeze. sometimes he will whizz on the wall, and it just leaks into the tray with out hitting litter. So a bit on the bottom is good.

When I first purchased the automatic litter box in July my cats were about 9 weeks old and and a bit intimidated by it and would prefer use the the regular litter box. By 12 weeks they would use it occasionally. Once they reached 16 weeks they almost exclusively use the automatic litter box! It is easy to clean ( the clumps fall into a drawer with a liner bag) I get a notification when it gets full. I travel often for days at a time so it gives me peace of mind their box is cleaned regularly. The only drawback is not with the product. With two growing kittens the time between needing cleaning continues to get shorter. So I'm ordering another one! A really good good product and have had zero issues with it.

Great litter box except for the fact it's too slow to complete cleaning. Cat may enter during cleaning and use this resulting in urine clumps in places there is no litter. Leaving clumps stuck to the inside that never fall.

I love this liter box. The safety features are wonderful and my Maincoon fits nicely in the wide space. This is the second automatic litter box I’ve bought. This is so much better than the other brand I got. It’s light weight and easy to move.
The base that catches the waste is nice and deep. If it gets too full it will stop so it doesn’t smear on the opening. The app is easy to use. The scale is a few pounds off, but I believe that was my fault. I didn’t fully read the instructions before adding the kitty litter. It has a light on the inside (you can pick different colors) it is also super quiet. The price was in my budget. I did get it on sale during prime days. My cats have been using it for 10 months and I haven’t had any issues so far. I highly recommend this litter box.

The litter capacity is impressive; I only need to empty it once every few days, even with multiple cats.

We just adopted 2 kittens and decided to get an automatic litter because we were having to clean litter box twice a day. This thing is massive, I believe the kittens are of Norwegian Forest Cat heritage so basically similar to main coon and can get up to 22-25lbs in size.
It is quiet when cleaning and make sure to set the time long enough to allow the litter to clump. I was just really curious to see it work and I think only had it for 3mins. For reference I also use a grass litter so a natural clumping litter.
It was easy to set up, and has an internal light feature you can set to different colors. We tested the sensor to stop when a cat enters and it’s very responsive and works well. The unit has a scale built in to weight the cats as they enter and tells the how long they are in the litter box. I wish you could assign a name to the cat or have a cat profile within in the app. That would be a nice feature to include a picture, name, maybe even enter in the shot records.
Con: one of the mains reasons to purchase unit is to help with the smell. While this helps with keeping the litter clean for the cats, the container down believe doesn’t hide the Oder very well. It does come with a good supply of disposable bags and an odor control block but it doesn’t really help very much. I’m in the process of trying to figure how else to fix this. I have ordered some carbon. Since the unit is located in a bedroom this is a problem.

I originally used it as a manual box because my cat was scared of it when it would clean. (I strongly suggest gradually introducing an automatic litter box to a cat not used to one because we had some issues at first with my cat not wanting to use it). In manual mode you just have to press the "clean" button and
it cleans the box. I love love love that this has an app because I was able to manually clean the box while we were on vacation through the app! After she got used to it I changed it to automatic to clean 30 minutes after she uses it. The safety sensor is very sensitive which doesn't make me worry about her getting trapped in the box when it cleans. We change the litter drawer every week on trash day and have not had any issues with it overflowing (we only have 1 cat so may be different with multiples). I like the convenience of just removing the bag and replacing it instead of having to scoop litter! I truly think it helps with the litter box smell in our house compared to a regular litter box. When I change/add litter I wipe down the liner with a Clorox wipe and spray it with pooph odor eliminator.

Let's be honest, cleaning litter boxes sucks. It's extra bad for us, because our dogs, for whatever reason, just LOVE cat doo, so we had to be on point, all the time - with two cats, we were scooping poo out of the litter box 10 times a day, or else our dogs would greet us with crunchy happy faces. We finally splurged on this device, and it is a GAME CHANGER. It's more than big enough to support two cats, it's very well built, heavy enough to be stable but light enough to move around and do the occasional internal cleaning (once every month or so it's a good idea to wipe down the walls). The robe-cleaning mechanism is very clever - it's quiet enough that we don't notice it running at night. It has a clever app that goes along with it that gives a wealth of information you never thought was possible; what cat when to the bathroom when, what kind of bathroom, HOW MUCH YOUR CAT WEIGHS (!!!), litter levels...it's ingenious. And the way it's built, and the way it cleans, means there are no more doo-treats for the beagles.

Overall, the litter box does what it needs to do. Two things I do notice is I have to change out the trash bag compartment every five days even though it says 15 days the smells too strong … sometimes litter , poop and pee can get stuck on the litter box grails inside but I think that’s just with all automatic litter boxes. This is a great litter box! I have no worries of it injuring my cat since it stops if anything, even my hand, enters the box. It’s relatively compact compared to others, can be moved pretty easily, and the remote control app is convenient so you can track what’s happening with your cat even while away. That said, I have some feedback: Mochi likes to urinate right at the edge of the box and oftentimes the clump will not drop into the bottom; it just stays stuck. The only way I can remove it is manually which isn’t fun. Also, the box smells and the bottom shelf needs to be emptied daily so that it doesn’t stink to high heaven. I’ve used natural cleaners to address the smell but it doesn’t help all that much. I think once cat urine gets anywhere it just doesn’t leave no matter what you do. Is this a better option than a manual cat litter? Yes, but having my cat go outside is always the preferred option unfortunately.

Super easy to assemble!! When the drawer needs emptying, the app or a light on the control panel will alert you. Simply pull out the drawer, remove and dispose of the bag containing the waste, and you are done!! Definitely I will buy it again and I abosolutly recommend this to my friends and family! I've thoroughly enjoyed the freedom from a traditional litter box. My kitten got accustomed to it quickly. You can setup a cleaning schedule, how often it cleans after a cat uses it, and how many minutes after. It has a safety mechanism that triggers if it detects movement, my kitten is quite curious, so it sometimes does go to it once it starts rotating and it automatically stops and resumes after the kitten leaves the immediate area. Not loud, nice color variety, app works. The app doesn't automatically work on high speed wifi connections, but it was easy to temporarily change my spectrum router settings to align with the requirements. No issues or complaints. Way more affordable to litter robot series or the ones offered at PetSmart/petco

I wanted a self cleaning litter box but didn't want to pay the really high price of the 'robot' kind. There are several available on Amazon. I went by other customer reviews and purchased this one. It went together pretty quickly. They provide many liners so you won't have to purchase more for quite awhile. Our cats didn't take to it quickly but eventually they got there. We still have a couple of regular litter boxes near by and have been taking them away slowly. Our cats are 15 years old and pretty used to the way their litter boxes were. The one thing I really didn't like and don't use is pairing the Self Cleaning litter box with my phone. I couldn't get it to work and just decided that it's really not needed. The litter we have been using is a hard clumping litter and sometimes sticks to the plastic underneath. It's a quick fix but be careful on what tool you use to loosen the litter clump as a sharp tool could cut the plastic. I would recommend this litter box. 4 stars for the useless (for us) 'smart home' phone pairing.

I noticed someone said once a week but when I investigated further I found evidence that the urine over time will have an effect on the sensors & motors life time, so proper cleaning will made it last a lot longer!
At first he wouldn’t go in until I unhooked the power so as instructed I kept the old box close by. It took 5 days before I could leave it turned on all the time. Now it’s a lot cleaner in the house!

This has made life a little easier with 6 cats in the house. It has streamlined the facilitation of feline fecal mater. Although a near perrrrfect product, it does have some exploits that frisky felines will soon discover. (See below) One of our boys loves to pop in on others while freshening themselves. His brother loves to keep peeking at the nuggets left behind to see where they go. The dogs tend to avoid the new automated box which is prefurrrrrable. We really do love the purrrrchase. 1. When the box cycles and some little kitty sticky their furry little posterior in to see what’s happening, it’ll stop. (Safety first)
2. This box does not include A.I. technology. You will have to refill the litter often, but the soiled litter is packaged and ready to go to the trash with no trouble at all.
3. No poo parties! It doesn’t like more than one kitty per visit. This is typically not a problem unless you have one of our crazy cats.

Easy set up and easy to clean! I don’t know how I had a cat without this! Caught it on sale which was a bonus but worth every penny. Took a couple weeks for my cat to get used to but she finicky about everything. The trick was to rub her face and paws with a cotton square and rub the square around the edges of the entrance. Worked like a charm. No problems with it at all. I use Crystal litter and it works well even though not advertised for that type. Such a time saver!!!

This litter box is so worth the investment. We have two cats and was having to scoop constantly, especially when company was over as we have a small space. My teenagers appreciate not having to constantly scoop out the litter box frequently as well. I've had it for several months and it still works great. The app connected to it is also easy to use. Once you get the hang of it. I'm not tech savvy at all and I was able to figure it out on my own .Our cats are not scared by the noise which was a concern originally. You can adjust the timer, light color and brightness and a few other things. I also love that it has the usage data available so I can make sure my cats are going regularly And in case I forget to hit the reset button after a deep cleaning. I use regular litter with it and it does fine. I've ran out of the special bags that go in the bottom tray and have just used regular trash bags which works in a pinch. I do recommend getting a 2nd tray that goes in the machine as it is vinyl and with usage does wear and tear slightly. It's still going strong but I do plan to get a backup. As far as the size, it's perfect. I have a very large cat and he has plenty of room. I would purchase this over and over!

I waited over a month to review this so I could more fairly evaluate it. It has been great so far, not a single issue to report. The weight sensor is a bit inaccurate, but I didn't buy this for that feature so I'm not worried. Operation is quiet, and the app allows you to customize the settings for the night light, clumping time, etc. The use log is accurate, showing the time and duration of each use by the cat, as well as current status. It also counts uses since the waste drawer was last pulled out. The wifi operation is good, this is in the basement laundry room far from the router upstairs in my house, and it still works great. This works on 2.4G wifi, the band with the longest range. Just about all modern routers are dual band these days (2.4G/5G) so this should work in most households. The waste drawer is large, my 9.5LB cat takes nearly 2 weeks to fill it. Also there was an immediate, very noticeable reduction in cat litter consumption. If you use a quality litter like Slide like we do, this is a very welcome cost savings!
This comes with 2 rolls of bags that line the waste drawer, as well as a deodorant block. If this thing lasts a year or more I'd say it was definitely worth the money. So far so good, and I'll update my review if anything changes.

Cleanup requires pulling out the tray and pulling out the liner with built-in drawstrings....easy as it gets. Put in a new liner and push it back in and your done for a few days.

Behaves as expected. Easy to setup, wifi and app work perfectly. We have 3 cats and one loves it, one uses it some times and the 3rd never does. It is totally worth it, as it take a huge burden off the regular litter boxes. We use this as a buffer for when we travel, and it fits the bill. No problems at all, and we have been using it for nearly 4 months now. Just know that if you stick your hand in the window to add litter, the box will be in "cat present" mode for a minute, so the manual cleaning function will not work until the coast is clear. Press Manual Clean after emptying the tray and all will be well. I have found that it's best to put a thin layer of litter in the litter tray after cleaning, as the dirty litter from the box is concentrated nasty, and one of our cats is HUGE and he is a tight squeeze. sometimes he will whizz on the wall, and it just leaks into the tray with out hitting litter. So a bit on the bottom is good.

When I first purchased the automatic litter box in July my cats were about 9 weeks old and and a bit intimidated by it and would prefer use the the regular litter box. By 12 weeks they would use it occasionally. Once they reached 16 weeks they almost exclusively use the automatic litter box! It is easy to clean ( the clumps fall into a drawer with a liner bag) I get a notification when it gets full. I travel often for days at a time so it gives me peace of mind their box is cleaned regularly. The only drawback is not with the product. With two growing kittens the time between needing cleaning continues to get shorter. So I'm ordering another one! A really good good product and have had zero issues with it.

My cat was hesitant in using it at first but now he does more often. It’s also fun to see on how the app how often he goes in there.

Great litter box except for the fact it's too slow to complete cleaning. Cat may enter during cleaning and use this resulting in urine clumps in places there is no litter. Leaving clumps stuck to the inside that never fall.

I love this liter box. The safety features are wonderful and my Maincoon fits nicely in the wide space. This is the second automatic litter box I’ve bought. This is so much better than the other brand I got. It’s light weight and easy to move.
The base that catches the waste is nice and deep. If it gets too full it will stop so it doesn’t smear on the opening. The app is easy to use. The scale is a few pounds off, but I believe that was my fault. I didn’t fully read the instructions before adding the kitty litter. It has a light on the inside (you can pick different colors) it is also super quiet. The price was in my budget. I did get it on sale during prime days. My cats have been using it for 10 months and I haven’t had any issues so far. I highly recommend this litter box.

This is a great product in this price range. The customer support is excellent! I have two cats, one 6 years old and the other 1 year old. They both use the litter box without any problems. The older cat has a small issue where she sometimes sticks her butt out of the box to poop, but I solved this problem by turning off the light in the box. Now she's not afraid of the light hitting her butt

We just adopted 2 kittens and decided to get an automatic litter because we were having to clean litter box twice a day. This thing is massive, I believe the kittens are of Norwegian Forest Cat heritage so basically similar to main coon and can get up to 22-25lbs in size.
It is quiet when cleaning and make sure to set the time long enough to allow the litter to clump. I was just really curious to see it work and I think only had it for 3mins. For reference I also use a grass litter so a natural clumping litter.
It was easy to set up, and has an internal light feature you can set to different colors. We tested the sensor to stop when a cat enters and it’s very responsive and works well. The unit has a scale built in to weight the cats as they enter and tells the how long they are in the litter box. I wish you could assign a name to the cat or have a cat profile within in the app. That would be a nice feature to include a picture, name, maybe even enter in the shot records.
Con: one of the mains reasons to purchase unit is to help with the smell. While this helps with keeping the litter clean for the cats, the container down believe doesn’t hide the Oder very well. It does come with a good supply of disposable bags and an odor control block but it doesn’t really help very much. I’m in the process of trying to figure how else to fix this. I have ordered some carbon. Since the unit is located in a bedroom this is a problem.

I originally used it as a manual box because my cat was scared of it when it would clean. (I strongly suggest gradually introducing an automatic litter box to a cat not used to one because we had some issues at first with my cat not wanting to use it). In manual mode you just have to press the "clean" button and
it cleans the box. I love love love that this has an app because I was able to manually clean the box while we were on vacation through the app! After she got used to it I changed it to automatic to clean 30 minutes after she uses it. The safety sensor is very sensitive which doesn't make me worry about her getting trapped in the box when it cleans. We change the litter drawer every week on trash day and have not had any issues with it overflowing (we only have 1 cat so may be different with multiples). I like the convenience of just removing the bag and replacing it instead of having to scoop litter! I truly think it helps with the litter box smell in our house compared to a regular litter box. When I change/add litter I wipe down the liner with a Clorox wipe and spray it with pooph odor eliminator.
This is a great automatic litter box especially for the price. Would definitely recommend!

Let's be honest, cleaning litter boxes sucks. It's extra bad for us, because our dogs, for whatever reason, just LOVE cat doo, so we had to be on point, all the time - with two cats, we were scooping poo out of the litter box 10 times a day, or else our dogs would greet us with crunchy happy faces. We finally splurged on this device, and it is a GAME CHANGER. It's more than big enough to support two cats, it's very well built, heavy enough to be stable but light enough to move around and do the occasional internal cleaning (once every month or so it's a good idea to wipe down the walls). The robe-cleaning mechanism is very clever - it's quiet enough that we don't notice it running at night. It has a clever app that goes along with it that gives a wealth of information you never thought was possible; what cat when to the bathroom when, what kind of bathroom, HOW MUCH YOUR CAT WEIGHS (!!!), litter levels...it's ingenious. And the way it's built, and the way it cleans, means there are no more doo-treats for the beagles.

We bought one of these about a year ago and have absolutely loved it. Never any issues. Just bought our second one just so they could have 2 litter boxes. The first one still works perfectly!
